International Project

In Spring of 2018, the Interact club traveled to Los Barriles, Mexico to complete a volunteer project with an Interact club there, and another one traveling from Madera, California. The goal was to renovate and repaint a local school and playground that desperately needed attention. We spent the year fundraising and were able to send seven students with their travel and food fully paid for. On the trip students bonded with other club members and were able to explore the community, learning about other organizations in result to volunteer work such as a small, local urgent care, which gave people a health care option in their town so they didn't have to travel a long distance to receive health care.
